
The Anaheim Ducks brought new head coach Greg Cronin in this offseason to do one job, get the team back into playoff contention. The front office felt that he was the correct man for the job due to his long experience working at different levels of the hockey world. Cronin is known best for his ability to get the best out of his players and the hope is that he can do just that with this young Anaheim squad. The organization has signaled that they want to try and reach the postseason next season, even if the odds are against them. Cronin has his work cut out for him, but he was hired for a reason and now has the chance to prove himself in this league.
