This former Bruins star is off to a nice start with his new club.

On Jan. 25, former Boston Bruins forward Taylor Hall was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes in the monster Mikko Rantanen three-team blockbuster.

With the Hurricanes needing help in their middle six, it was understandable that they brought in Hall as a part of the trade from the Chicago Blackhawks. The Canes are hoping he will give them solid secondary offensive production from here.

Hall is fitting in quite nicely with the Hurricanes early on with the club. During Jan. 28's game against the New York Rangers, Hall picked up the primary assist on forward Andrei Svechnikov's first-period goal.

Hall's assist was a real beauty, too, as he made a perfect pass to Svechnikov in the offensive zone before the latter fired it home.

Hall is known for his strong playmaking skills, and he is already showing that off with the Canes. If he keeps this kind of play up, it will only make the Hurricanes an even bigger threat in the Eastern Conference moving forward.
