BOSTON -- Bruins captain Brad Marchand exited the game early in the third period.
After a whistle, he fell awkwardly backwards and slammed his head against the boards in front of the Anaheim bench. He crawled to the Bruins bench and was quickly tended to by a trainer.
Fortunately, he returned late in the period and finished the game.
