The Boston Bruins returned to practice today after suffering a tough 4-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning last night. However, one of their key forwards was absent.

According to the Boston Globe's Jim McBride, Mark Kastelic was not on the ice at practice. This comes after the gritty forward was shaken up after receiving a cross-check to the head and then fighting Lightning defenseman Emil Lilleberg

This is not ideal news, as Kastelic is an incredibly important part of the Bruins' bottom six. However, given how shaken up he looked after his fight, it is not the most suprising of developments that he did not participate at practice.

Here's to hoping that Kastelic is not dealing with anything serious. The hard-nosed forward has four goals, 12 points, 167 hits, and 81 penalty minutes in 43 games this season with the Bruins.
