Things just got tougher for the Bruins against the Maple Leafs tonight.

The Boston Bruins' upcoming contest against the Toronto Maple Leafs just got tougher for them.

While speaking to reporters, Maple Leafs superstar forward Auston Matthews shared that he will be back in the lineup tonight against Boston.

Matthews, 27, last played for the Maple Leafs on Dec. 20 against the Buffalo Sabres, where he scored a goal. The superstar missed six straight games but is now good to go against the Bruins.

This is certainly not the best news for the Bruins, as Matthews is one of the game's best players. The 2016 first-overall pick has 11 goals, 23 points, and a minus-2 rating in 24 games this season. This is after he had 69 goals and 107 points in 81 games last season.
