The NHL off-season is upon us, and hockey fans should expect many trades and free-agent signings. And in this ongoing series on THN.com's Sabres site, we're exploring teams that could be partners with Buffalo on major trades.
We started the series with files on the Utah Mammoth, Colorado Avalanche, Vancouver Canucks, Philadelphia Flyers, New York Rangers and Los Angeles Kings. And in our newest file in the series, we're focused on the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Penguins may be interested in Sabres goalie Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, or Buffalo wingers Alex Tuch and J.J. Peterka. Meanwhile, Buffalo GM Kevyn Adams might want to acquire one of Pittsburgh wingers Bryan Rust or Rickard Rakell.
WIith that said, would you want the Sabres to make a deal with Pittsburgh? If so, which of Rust or Rakell would you prefer Adams to pursue?
