The NHL's free-agency period is set to kick off Tuesday -- and Sabres GM Kevyn Adams will be watched like a hawk to see what moves he makes by signing and/or trading players to change the mix of his team. And in this article, THN.com's Sabres site is arguing that Adams can't afford to sit back and wait for talent to fall into his lap.
Indeed, Adams has to be one of the most active GMs -- if not *the* most active GM -- when it comes to free-agency and trades. Adams has to be pro-active and get ahead of his colleagues by notably changing his roster, and no excuses will be tolerated by exhausted Sabres fans.
But what is your opinion? What players do you think Adams should consider trading? And what free agents should Adams prioritize as a new acquisition? Be sure to make your opinion known in the comments below, and also sign up to be part of THN.com's Sabres community.
