The Buffalo Sabres are trying to end 14 years of not making the Stanley Cup playoffs -- and this summer, Sabres GM Kevyn Adams hired former Blue Jackets GM Jarmo Kekalainen as his senior advisor. However, in a media availability on Tuesday, Adams admitted that Kekalainen is working remotely out of Columbus.
That means two key management members -- Kekalainen and associate GM Jason Karmanos, who lives in Pittsburgh -- aren't going to be living and working in Buffalo. And in this column, THN is calling that decision into question.
How do you feel about Adams' decision to allow two important management members to live and work outside of Buffalo? Does it matter that much to the Sabres' bottom line?
