With a few roster moves happening in time for Thursday's clash with the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Calgary Flames began the day by recalling forward Walker Duehr.
Duehr, who managed only one goal and three assists in 19 NHL games, collected one assist in two Wranglers games during his minor-league stint.
Forward Adam Ruzicka and defenceman Nick DeSimone were both placed on waivers on Wednesday, and claimed by the Arizona Coyotes and New Jersey Devils respectively.
The Flames have been moving around a series of forwards lately with Martin Pospisil injured, Dillon Dube having left the team indefinitely and a couple of rookies in Adam Klapka and Cole Schwindt having been summoned.
The Flames also have defenceman Oliver Kylington, who has not played since the 2021-22 season, nearing a return from his mental health battle.
