The 22-year-old forward is on a line with two players he hoped to be playing alongside.

The NHL season is now on pause as the league's focus shifts to the new 4 Nations Face-Off as the league's top talent from America, Canada, Finland and Sweden will face off from Feb. 12-20 to see who is currently best hockey nation.

Team Canada held their first practice today and we got to see how they could potentially look for their first game against Team Sweden on Feb. 12.

Sam Reinhart (FLA) - Connor McDavid (EDM) - Mitch Marner (TOR)
Mark Stone (VGK) - Sidney Crosby (PIT) - Nathan MacKinnon (COL)
Seth Jarvis (CAR) - Brayden Point (TBL) - Brad Marchand (BOS)
Brandon Hagel (TBL) - Anthony Cirelli (TBL) - Sam Bennett (FLA)

Devon Toews (COL) - Cale Makar (COL)
Josh Morrissey (WPG) - Colton Parayko (STL)
Shea Theodore (VGK) - Drew Doughty (LAK)
    Travis Sanheim (PHI)

*Travis Konecny (PHI) was out due to illness

The power play units were also as follows:

    Makar
    McDavid - Reinhart - MacKinnon
    Crosby

    Theodore
    Morrissey - Point - Marner
    Stone

Carolina Hurricanes forward Seth Jarvis, who is the youngest member of Team Canada, is getting the opportunity to play on the third line.

Jarvis, 22, entered the break with 22 goals and 45 points in 49 games this season and his game has just continued to grow by leaps and bounds.

He's slotted in alongside Point and Marchand, two players Jarvis has said he tries to model his game after.

And while Jarvis isn't looking to get any power play time, I'd probably expect him to kill penalties as his strong skating and aggressive style make him so effective there.

His three shorthanded goals and five shorthanded points do trail behind a few other Team Canada members though (Reinhart - 5 SHG, 6 SHP; Cirelli - 4 SHG, 6 SHP; Hagel - 2 SHG, 6 SHP).
