The Blue Jackets will finally get a break from playing all of the top teams in the East.
The Philadelphia Flyers have lost three straight and are 4-5-1 in the last 10. They've also lost 6 of 8 in December, so it hasn't been going well for John Tortorella's squad.
The Flyers are bad at giving up goals just like the Jackets, ranking 29th in goals against to the CBJ's 30th. But where the biggest difference comes in between these two teams in goal scoring. The Flyers rank 17th in the league scoring just 97 goals, whereas Columbus is 9th in the league with 107. The Jackets are scoring 3.24 goals per game to the Flyers 2.94.
The Flyers beat the Jackets 5-3 back on December 10th and they're going to want some payback.
The Flyers are currently 5th in the Metro, 10th in the East, and 21st in the League.
