According to multiple reports out of Czechia, CBJ prospect Martin Ryšavý has signed with Bílí Tygři Liberec, which is in one of the top leagues in Czechia. The reported deal is for two years.
Ryšavý spent the last three seasons in junior playing for the Moose Jaw Warriors of the WHL. For Moose Jaw, Ryšavý scored 44 goals and had 103 points in total.
He's a big guy at 6-foot-3, 209 lbs who came to CBJ development camp a few weeks ago and looked good with his skating and his shot. But with former GM Jarmo Kekäläinen gone, being signed by Columbus just wasn't in the cards right now.
Ryšavý is still young at 21 and could get another shot in the NHL.
