Offer sheets are a sensitive subject for some teams - just ask Carolina and Montreal. 

As GM Don Waddell has said, "It's a tool in our toolbox." But would he dare use that tool? I'm not sure, but he has before, so don't rule anything out. 

The Blue Jackets, though, could be the victims of an offer sheet themselves this summer. 

On the big roster, they have Jordan Harris, Daniil Tarasov, and Dmitri Voronkov as the RFAs. The big fish is Dmitri Voronkov. Would another team dare to pluck the 6'5'', 227lb youngster from underneath Don Waddell? It's possible that it could happen, especially with Offer Sheets being talked about more this year than ever before. 

I'm 100% positive the CBJ would match any offer given to Voronkov, but they need to be aware either way. 

Below are the compensation levels for 2025 Offer Sheets.

 $1,544,424 or less - None

Over $1,544,424 to $2,340,037 - Third-round pick

Over $2,340,037 to $4,680,076 - Second-round pick

Over $4,680,076 to $7,020,113 - First- and third-round picks

Over $7,020,113 to $9,360,153 - First-, second-, and third-round picks

Over $9,360,153 to $11,700,192 - Two firsts, one second, and one third

Over $11,700,192 - Four first-round picks

Voronkov was tied with Zach Werenski with 23 goals, which was third. He was 6th in assists with 24, 6th in points with 47, 1st with 8 PP goals, had 11 PP points, and was a plus-17. 

Offer Sheets can be discussed starting on June 30, but no offer can be signed until free agency begins on July 1.
