Per Multiples Reports, Patrik Laine Has Been Released From The NHL Player Assistance Program

Per multiple reports, forward Patrik Laine has been released from the NHL Player Assistance Program. He entered the program in January of this past season.
Rumors about Laine and a possible trade destination haven't stopped since it went public that he wanted out of Columbus.
Now that Laine is out of the program, GM Don Waddell can have a conversation with him regarding everything that has gone on this summer.
Also of note, teams can reach out to him or his agent now and have talks about his future.
It's possible Laine could start the season in Columbus if Waddell can't find a decent offer for the young Finn. The question is, if Waddell can't get him traded before the season, would Laine take the ice for Columbus?
Stay tuned, this situation could get resolved rather quickly.
