    Team Canada was eliminated from the World Juniors in the quarterfinals

    Last night, Team Canada was eliminated from the World Juniors in the quarterfinals against Czechia.

    Czechia jumped out to an early 3-1 lead after the first period. Canada did manage to crawl back and tie the game. However, a late third period penalty against cost them the game and they lost 4-3.

    Columbus Blue Jackets' prospect Luca Pinelli played very well in the elimination game. He was involved in the team's game tying goal by Parker Martone.

    Pinelli ended the tournament with a goal and an assist for two points five games.

    As for Team Canada, they were bounced from the quarterfinals for the second consecutive year, marking the first time that has happened in the tournament's history. 

    What's Next - The Jackets return home on Saturday to play the St. Louis Blues.
