The Stars' youngsters opened the 2023 NHL Prospect Tournament in Traverse City, MI on a high note, earning a 4-2 victory over the Red Wings' prospects on Thursday.
Gavin White, Matthew Seminoff, Chase Wheatcroft and Matej Blumel scored for Dallas, while goaltender Remi Poirier turned aside 32 of 34 shots.
Blumel, 23, led Dallas with a plus-3 differential and four shots on goal.
