1 am not writing to dispute this point. It is true.
But why is Detroit Red Wings’ center Sergei Fedorov always ignored when comparing the league’s great and unique talents?
Fedorov is one of the best two-way players in the game and his great leg strength, speed, and spectacular passing and puckhandling abilities make him one of the game’s premier players.
He regularly dominates when he’s on the ice and more so than ever this season in the absence of Steve Yzerman.
I enjoy reading stories about all players, but when making comparisons in the future, how about including the best players, not just the most famous? Fedorov is one of the best kept secrets in the league.
Let’s not keep it that way.
