On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies can be used in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.
Morgan Geekie, LW, BOS @ CHI (1% rostered)
Geekie, who tallied a career-high 17 goals to go along with 22 assists in 2023-24, got off to a very slow start this season. He posted just one marker and three helpers his first 18 games played in 2024-25. But Geekie has shown some signs of waking from his slumber with a goal and assists his last three games. Nothing elite, but certainly more in line with what Boston expected from him this season. The Bruins are deploying Geekie as a first line left winger.
Ryan Donato, C, CHI vs. BOS (19% rostered)
I profiled Donato a few days and was rewarded with him denting the scoresheet. Donato has a pair of goals and as many assists his last four contests as he settled in nicely in Chicago. He posted 30 points last season, just one shy of his career-high, and through 23 games, Donato already has 10 markers and five apples while skating on the second line. Enjoy the ride while it lasts.
Troy Terry, C/RW, ANA vs. LV (19% rostered)
Terry has a breakout season in 2021-22, notching 37 goals and 30 assists. His production declined slightly each of the next two seasons to 61 and 54 points, respectively, as Anaheim incorporated some of their young talent, especially last season. The 27-year-old winger has found his form again recently, accumulating seven assists over his last four games while ending a drought of six contests without a power-play point Sunday.
Chris Tanev, TOR vs. NSH (8% rostered)
Toronto won a bidding war to add Tanev this off-season, inking the physical blueliner to a six-year, $27 million contract. He showed his value in last season's playoffs, racking up 30 hits and 73 blocked shots in 19 postseason clashes with the Stars. Tanev is seeing 19:23 of ice time while blocking 75 shots in 24 games so far as a member of the Maple Leafs.

Vladislav Gavrikov, LA vs. DAL (7% rostered)
Another blueliner whose main value is in minutes played and blocked shots, Gavrikov is providing both for the Kings. While not typically known for offense, he is on a near 30-point and 180-block pace this campaign. Add in 23+ minutes of ice time per game and you have a defensemen providing value is several ancillary categories.
