The Wild have announced they have signed forward Mason Shaw to a one-year deal for the remainder of the 2023-24 season.

Faber should win the Calder and it's not close

ST. PAUL - Wild president of Hockey Operations and General Manager Bill Guerin today announced today that the Wild have signed forward Mason Shaw to a two-way contract ($775,000/$400,000) for the remainder of the 2023-24 season.

In the same move, they have reassigned forward Adam Beckman to the Iowa Wild of the AHL. Shaw is expected to practice with Minnesota on Friday, Feb. 16.

Shaw, 25, had seven goals and 19 points in 59 NHL games for the Wild last season but tore his ACL for the fourth time in his career at the end of the season in April. He started the year in rehab and eventually played in nine AHL games for the Iowa Wild.

In the nine games, Shaw had four goals, two shorthanded goals, a game-winning goal, and seven points. The Iowa Wild recalled forward Louis Boudon earlier today as well.
