The Wild made a few roster moves on Wednesday.

ST. PAUL - Wild President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Bill Guerin announced Wednesday that the team has recalled defenseman David Jiricek from the Iowa Wild in the American Hockey League (AHL) under emergency conditions and reassigned forward Devin Shore to Iowa.

In a corresponding move, the Wild placed forward Jakub Lauko on Long-Term Injury Reserve (LTIR) to afford Jiricek. Lauko's placement is retroactive to Dec. 14.

The Wild could remove Lauko from LTIR tomorrow for him to play against the Colorado Avalanche, since they sent down Shore and have 11 forwards.

They had 21 players on the active roster before the move with Travis Dermott as the only healthy scratch. But Brock Faber only played six shifts last night against the St. Louis Blues and left with an upper-body injury.

Jiricek's recall under emergency conditions is likely for Faber. If Faber can't play Thursday, Jiricek can.
