Former Hab Jesse Ylönen signs one-year deal with Tampa Bay
Former Montreal Canadiens Jesse Ylönen signed a one-year contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning worth $775, 000, as Ian Puver of The Will Sports Group reported Monday.
Ylönen, 24, tallied four goals and four assists with the Canadiens in 59 regular season games. He was drafted 35th overall by Montreal in 2018. He has registered 12 goals and 17 assists in 111 games with the team.
The six-foot-one, 200-pound winger from Scottsdale, Ariz. will add depth to the third-fourth line and is expected to spend time between Tampa Bay and their AHL affiliate the Syracuse Crunch.
