The Manitoba Moose have reassigned two players to their ECHL affiliates.

Over the past week, the Manitoba Moose have reassigned two players to their respective ECHL affiliate clubs.

After sending defenceman Dawson Barteaux to the Idaho Steelheads, the Moose went out and picked up wins in two of three games over the past weekend.

The team then announced its move to drop goaltender Thomas Milic back to the Norfolk Admirals before its midweek game against Rockford on Wednesday night.

Barteaux, a product of Manitoba's Foxwarren region, has remained unable to draw into the Moose lineup this season.

Falling down the depth chart, the 23-year-old sixth round pick of the Dallas Stars (2018) has, however, worked his way into three games for the Steelheads. In his limited showing, Barteaux has two goals and four points.

Milic, 20, is in his first season of professional hockey after finishing his junior career with a WHL championship with the Seattle Thunderbirds last season.

The Jets' 2023 fifth round selection earned a recall to the Moose and fared alright in relief, as he went 1-1-0 in parts of four games with Manitoba. He is currently 4-0-1 for Norfolk on the year, while picking up the ECHL Goaltender of the Week award in late-October.

Manitoba will take on the IceHogs from BMO Center on Wednesday evening. That game can be viewed live on AHL TV at 7:00 PM central time.
