Trevor Zegras Is A Positive Step In Flyers' Climb To Relevance. Now, GM Briere Needs A Goalie
Thanks to a surplus of draft picks he stockpiled, Flyers GM Daniel Briere was able to land a much-needed center to play on one of the top two lines.
Ok, so the Flyers pulled off the wild Trevor Zegras trade. Now what?
As some of you may know already, my good pal Sam Carchidi wrote a column on Zegras, the Flyers, and what's next Monday.
Sam, like many of you, has an idea of what's next, and that's a goalie.
Honestly, the goalie market this year is not the greatest. In fact, it's actually pretty poor, all things considered.
I wrote previously about how Jake Allen and the Flyers just aren't good fits for each other given Allen's age and the desperation of other goalie-needy teams, like the Oilers, for example.
Who else is out there, though? Should the Flyers reunite Thatcher Demko with Rick Tocchet?
