The Flyers will be without one of their top forwards against the Devils.
The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that forward Sean Couturier will not be in the lineup for Jan. 27's game against the New Jersey Devils due to an illness.
With Couturier being the Flyers' captain and one of their top players, it is certainly tough that he is unable to play against the Devils. However, on the bright side, the Flyers confirmed that fellow key forward Scott Laughton will return to the lineup.
Couturier, 32, has eight goals, 24 points, and 33 hits in 48 games this season. This is after he had 11 goals and 38 points in 74 games this past season.
