The Flyers are getting their starting goalie back.

The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that Samuel Ersson will be the club's starting goalie against the Dallas Stars.

Ersson, 25, has not played since exiting the Flyers' Dec. 31 contest against the San Jose Sharks early due to a lower-body injury. He was excellent during that start before getting injured, saving all 15 shots he faced.

Ersson certainly has a big challenge ahead of him in his return, as the Stars are one of the top teams in the NHL. At this point of the season, they have a 25-13-1 record and have won five straight games.
