Jaroslav Halak announced his retirement from the NHL on Friday. He hasn't played in an NHL game in over two years after he was in the league from 2006 to 23.

He hasn’t played a competitive hockey game in more than two years,
but Slovak goaltender Jaroslav Halák never
officially ended his career … until now.
Halak played against the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs, helping the Montreal Canadiens upset the Penguins in seven games.
