The Pittsburgh Penguins placed Tristan Jarry on NHL waivers on Wednesday, possibly ending his time with the club. Where does he rank all-time in team history?

The Pittsburgh Penguins placed veteran goalie Tristan Jarry on waivers Wednesday afternoon, possibly ending his time with the club that drafted him in the second round (44th overall) at the 2013 Draft.

For the past nine seasons, Jarry has skated with the Penguins, dressing in 279 games and compiling a 144-93-29 record with 19 shutouts. His career statistics stand at 2.75 GAA and .910 SV%.

Considering the Penguins have missed the Stanley Cup playoffs in each of the last two seasons, Jarry played only eight playoff games between 2019 and 2022, with a 2-6 record, a 3.00 GAA, and a .891 SV%.

Jarry is a two-time All-Star, playing in the 2020 and 2022 games while visiting seventh in Vezina Trophy voting in 2019-20, finishing the season with a 20-12-1 record and three shutouts.

Regarding Jarry's place in Penguins goalie history, the numbers show he will go down as one of the top five backstoppers of all time. Here's the rundown:

Whether or not this is the last time fans will see Jarry in a Penguins sweater, there's no denying his contributions to the organization over the past decade, including a goalie goal on November 30, 2023.
