It Was Grow Time: "It was really fun to see individuals on this team really grow, and see their games elevate. And the buzz and the energy in Seattle, to see that grow was pretty amazing. To be a part of playoff hockey and see the excitement, that's something we'll never forget.
"You can see how well we gelled off the ice and how we played for one another on the ice. There's obviously a lot of fun coming to the rink with this group.
"It's traveling together, it's people's families getting to know each other, spending time with one another, coming to the rink every day, being on road trips. It's something that builds as you get to know each other more, and that chemistry starts to build."
Big Steps Taken, More To Come: "You can't take any team lightly. Anybody can beat anyone on any given night. Everyone's going to have to put in the work in the offseason, just like everyone else around the league.
"We took a big step in the right direction, but it wasn't easy. It was hard. Teams that made the playoffs (the year before), didn't make the playoffs this year, so it's never easy. The league is so good, and teams if they did take us lightly, which I don't think they did, they certainly won't next year."

On Playoff Call-up Tye Kartye: "You can see how hard he works, how dedicated and focused he is for being so young and playing very well. He's going to have a really bright future in this league."
On Andre Burakovsky, Injured Since February: "You see what he did earlier in the year, just his skill level and the things he can do on the ice. Really good player. He's got an elite shot. He's a game breaker in this league. He makes a lot of good plays and he's a big body.
"Obviously, he's experienced a lot of playoff games and a couple of championships, and we missed them a lot. So it'll be nice to see him back skating with us and healthy in training camp."
