Hi, I'm Jordan, Your Dad And Your Father: "You know what, I think from the time I've honestly been 13-14 years old, I've had a regimented schedule. Throughout the season, you have meetings at certain times in the summer, you have training at certain times, you're on the ice at certain times.
"I've always heard (from) guys who retire, that's their biggest thing - that they don't really have that schedule anymore and it's trying to get back to it.
"But for me, going into the summer, I think it's important to take time off and let your body heal. We put our significant others through a lot during the playoffs and being away, and with me having two kids, it's hard on them to not be able to see me. And then when they do see me, a lot of times my mind's elsewhere and it's in the game.
"We put our significant others through a lot during the playoffs and being away, and with me having two kids, it's hard on them to not be able to see me."
"There's plays that are going to haunt me the rest of the summer for sure. Playoffs are such a momentum thing. You could look back and say if we did this or did this, but I think it's still a little fresh for us to go through that.
"So it's always good to have time off, and spend time with them (family) throughout the summer. Rebuild that, and then obviously get myself ready for next season.
"I'm excited to be here. My wife and I, we love playing in Seattle. It's a great place to wake up, see the mountains, the lakes, the organization, the buildings. It's just been first class for us. So we're excited for the future here."
