Seattle Returns To Site Of First Franchise Victory

Everyone knows when you lose in Las Vegas, you don't try to stick around and get even.

Instead, the Seattle Kraken have moved on to Nashville for the Predators' home opener tonight, with both teams looking to even their season record at 1-1.

UPDATE: Brandon Tanev will not play tonight. Tye Kartye, in his first NHL regular season game, will take Tanev's place on Seattle's 4th line.

We'll update this story when we hear if Kraken winger Brandon Tanev will play.

We do know that the Golden Knights' Brett Howden, who hit Tanev with a check to the head in Tuesday's 4-1 Seattle loss, has been suspended by the NHL Department of Player Safety.

For the rest of our Kraken-Predators game preview, here's our Kraken Reaction video conversation with Ann Kimmel, Nashville site editor for The Hockey News.
