Lightning head coach Jon Cooper wouldn't reveal Canada's starting goalie for their next game against Finland.
After a 3-1 loss to Team USA on Feb. 15, Team Canada returned to practice on Feb. 16. They are preparing for a crucial game against Team Finland on Feb. 17.
Following practice, Team Canada head coach Jon Cooper was asked if he knew who would be their starting goalie against Finland. The Tampa Bay Lightning bench boss shared that he made his pick, but he did not share who because he is meeting with the team first.
St. Louis Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington has started in each of Canada's first two games of the tournament. On Feb. 12 against Team Sweden, Binnington stopped 23 out of 26 shots in Canada's overtime win. In his start against Team USA, he made 20 saves on 22 shots.
It will be fascinating to see who Cooper's choice between the pipes for Canada will be from here. If it isn't Binnington, Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Adin Hill stands out as the likely replacement.
