The Tampa Bay Lightning have announced that top prospect Conor Geekie has been assigned to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.
Geekie, 20, has appeared in 49 games this season with the Lightning, posting six goals, 12 points, and 86 hits. The 6-foot-4 rookie forward also has zero points in his last games for the Bolts.
Geekie was acquired by the Lightning from the Utah Hockey Club this past off-season in the Mikhail Sergachev trade. This was after Geekie absolutely lit up the WHL in 2023-24, recording 43 goals and 99 points in 54 games split between the Wenatchee Wild and Swift Current Broncos.

Geekie will now look to make a big impact with the Crunch from here. If he does, a recall to the Lightning's roster could come shortly.
