Nick Barden is a Contributor for The Hockey News - Toronto. Originally from Pickering, Nick moved to the Downtown Toronto area in 2022 to cover hockey more often.

Since 2021, Nick has covered the Toronto Marlies extensively. He also has a YouTube channel where he discusses the Maple Leafs and their prospects on the Marlies.

Aside from hockey, Nick supports Manchester United in the Premier League. He remains to hold out hope that they will be one of the world's best teams once again soon.
