Guenther is breaking out when Utah needs it the most

Guenther is breaking out when Utah needs it the most

The Utah Hockey Club has a very exciting future ahead of them. They have Clayton Keller, Logan Cooley, Mikhail Sergachev, Josh Doan, and Dylan Guenther—all players to watch for years to come.

The one name that stands out on that list is Keller. He is the only star that Utah/Arizona has had since Shane Doan. Now, I know these franchises aren't connected, but the point is they need another star player on their roster.

Well, look no further than Guenther—he is becoming a star in this league right before our eyes.

Guenther has the perfect skill set to become a star goal scorer in the NHL. He finds open space, he loves to shoot the puck, and his shot is elite.

He is the player that Utah is going to need if they want to win games down the stretch. He can put his team on his back and win them hockey games.

The only thing he needs to work on before he is considered a bona fide star is his streakiness.

He will go three to four games and have five to six goals, then be quiet for four games at a time. That said, the hardest thing to do in the NHL is score goals. Even the best players in the league go through streaky periods.

If Guenther can limit the number of cold streaks he has in a season and score more consistently, he will easily become a 40-goal scorer in the league.
