Through the first 35 games of the season, here are some statistical leaders for the Arizona Coyotes.

Points: Clayton Keller

Clayton Keller leads all Coyotes players with 31 points. He currently has tallied 13 goals and 18 assists.

The 25-year-old forward has led the team in points for the past two seasons, so this comes as no surprise.

Keller uses his dynamic speed, puck handling skills and high hockey IQ to generate points and he is really blossoming into a superstar caliber player.

Goals: Lawson Crouse

Lawson Crouse leads the Coyotes with 16 goals.

Crouse was unable to score through his first seven games but since November 1, he has been on an offensive tear.

It’s Crouse’s shot that has served as his most lethal weapon. He is able to snipe the puck from virtually anywhere.

The 26-year-old utilizes his powerful shot on the power play as well as he sits at the bumper position waiting to fire the puck.

Assists: Matias Maccelli

Matias Maccelli leads the Coyotes with 21 assists.

The 23-year-old is a magician with the puck on his stick. It almost seems like he has eyes on the back of his head as he is able to find teammates in open space, giving them crisp passes from impossible angles.

Maccelli has also developed a good shot which helps make him less predictable and a more complete player overall.

Minutes per Game: Sean Durzi

Sean Durzi plays 22:28 minutes per game which is the most amongst all players on the team.

Through his first year with the Coyotes, Sean Durzi has taken over the number one defenseman role as he is the quarterback on the power and is an anchor defensively.

The 25-year-old is arguably Arizona’s most reliable player. He uses his impressive speed and steady play to make an impact on the ice.

Durzi also leads the team in the plus minus category, sitting at a plus 10.

Goal Against Average/Save Percentage: Conor Ingram

Conor Ingram edges out Karel Vejmelka in both goals against average and save percentage. He has a 2.49 GAA and .919 save percentage.

While both goaltenders have been playing at a high level recently, Ingram’s hot stretch at the end of November and beginning of December where he won five straight games, has propelled him to lead in the majority of statistical categories over Vejmelka.

Connor Ingram spoke following the Coyotes 2-0 victory over the Golden Knights.

However, since Vejmelka has found his game, André Tourigny continues to rotate the two goalies equally which serves as an effective strategy.
