    Heartbreak for Sweden in overtime

Sweden and Finland put on a show in their semifinal, with Finland winning 4-3 in overtime. Willander finished the night with four shots on goal while logging 29:17 of ice time. Despite his very strong performance, Willander was the one in the box when Finland scored the game-winner. While there is a debate on whether Willander should have been called for a penalty, Sweden was unable to survive the two-minute infraction, as Finland's Benjamin Rautiainen beat Sweden's Melker Thelin with less than 40 seconds left in overtime to win the game.

As mentioned, Sweden can still leave the tournament with a medal, as they will play for Bronze tomorrow afternoon. They will play the loser of U.S.A and Czechia, which is scheduled for 4:30 pm PT on Saturday. Game time for the Bronze Medal Game is scheduled for 12:30 pm PT and can be viewed on TSN.
