The analytics for this game favoured the Ducks mostly because the Canucks entered the first intermission up 5-1. Anaheim held a 23-18 even-strength scoring chances advantage, with Vancouver also losing the even-strength high-danger battle by a count of 9-5. In the end, the Canucks were lucky to walk away with such a massive win as the Ducks struggled to capitalize on their opportunities.

The heatmap shows why Vancouver had success in the offensive zone during this game. All six of the Canucks shots came from the middle of the ice, with Vancouver scoring on three of their six high-danger shots. If the Canucks can keep opening up the middle of the ice and actually hitting the net with their shots, they should be able to pick up a few more wins over the final stretch of the season.

Jumping over to standouts, Vancouver's best defensive pair was the duo of Marcus Pettersson and Filip Hronek. During their 17:55 together at even strength, Vancouver held a 12-9 shot advantage and outscored the opposition 3-1. Ultimatley, Pettersson and Hronek have shown they can have success together, which should help the Canucks balance out their defence core during the 2025-26 season.

To wrap things up, the trio of Linus Karlsson, Max Sasson and Jonathan Lekkerimäki put together an impressive performance. The trio played 10:10 together, outshooting their opposition 6-4 while also holding a 2-0 goal advantage. In the end, this line showed that they have some chemistry together, and are going to be dynamic for the Abbotsford Canucks during the 2025 Calder Cup Playoffs.
