Head Coach Bruce Cassidy is once again switching up the Vegas Golden Knights lineup ahead of Game 6 at home against the Dallas Stars.

Head Coach Bruce Cassidy is once again switching up the Vegas Golden Knights lineup ahead of Game 6 at home against the Dallas Stars.

Pavel Dorofeyev and Ben Hutton were inserted into the lineup for Game 5 but didn't leave a large enough impact to warrant them a spot in the Game 6 lineup.

Both players were removed from the lineup to allow Keegan Kolesar and Zach Whitecloud to return to the lineup.

Koselar will be back on the fourth line with William Carrier and Nicolas Roy like he did in the first four games of the series. Whitecloud will be paired with Noah Hanifin.

Besides the addition of Whitecloud, the Golden Knights will be throwing out the same defence pairings from Game 5.

Ivan Barbashev joining Chandler Stephenson and Mark Stone is the only other change to the forward group. Tomas Hertl meshed well at 5 on 5 with Jack Eichel and Jonathan Marchessault and will be getting another game playing on the first line.

William Karlsson practiced for the first time since before Game 2. Karlsson hasn't been taking many faceoffs this series. In Game 3 he took just five draws, in Game 4 he took four and only took two faceoffs in Game 5. Whatever he is dealing with is obviously hampering his ability to take faceoffs.

The Golden Knights will be fighting for their playoff lives tonight. All season long the Golden Knights have struggled to play a full 60minute game but if there was ever a time to do so, it would be tonight.

Puck drop is tonight at 7:00 P.M. PST at T-Mobile Arena.
