Washington is in the midst of interviews for their next head coach, and the process could be speeding up sooner rather than later. Meanwhile, the team must consider some moves as it approaches a summer that'll surely be sure of changes. And, as for the players, they're spending their offseasons in different ways.

- The search for a new bench boss might be heating up in D.C., with Washington reportedly the "team to beat" with regard to Spencer Carbery while others have also interviewed. Here's the latest on the Capitals head coaching search. (THN)
- Meanwhile, the team could be looking to make some moves this summer, and considering how the Matthew Tkachuk deal worked out for the Florida Panthers, general manager Brian MacLellan may want to make a splash. (THN)

- Todd Nelson, meanwhile, is proving to be quite the bench boss and may be worth the look for D.C. if the club chooses to slow down the process, though it appears things are picking up.
- In fun times, with time to kill early in the offseason, Wilson appears to have tried his hand at beekeeping with his dad.
