    The Washington Capitals have been dealing with injuries once again to open the 2023-24 season, and now, the team is waiting for more on defenseman Rasmus Sandin, who left Wednesday's game against the New Jersey Devils with an injury and will not return.

    Sandin took an odd hit from former Washington blueliner Jonas Siegenthaler in the third period and subsequently went to the bench and headed down the tunnel.
