The Manitoba Moose have agreed to contracts with three players for the 2025-26 American Hockey League season.

All three players spent parts of last season in Manitoba, while one was actually born and raised in Winnipeg.

Reece Vitelli, of Manitoba's capital, headlines the list of three skaters ready to do it again for what they hope will be a more competitive Moose squad this year.

Vitelli, fellow winger Tyson Empey of Swift Current and defenceman Dylan Anhorn of Calgary each signed one-year, standard AHL deals on Tuesday.

Last season Anhorn, 26, put up three goals and 16 points in 47 games on the blueline for Manitoba in his first year playing professional hockey. Prior to joining the Moose, he played for St. Cloud State of the NCAA.

Empy, 30, scored seven goals and 13 points in 59 games for Manitoba last year, while also adding 106 penalty minutes. He has previously suited up with the Hershey Bears and Tucson Roadrunners, also of the AHL.

Vitelli, 24, earned three points in just 15 showings for the Moose. Prior to joining Manitoba, the former Winnipeg Warriors AAA star played two seasons with the Atlanta Gladiators and Savannah Ghost Pirates of the ECHL.

The three returnees will compete for their spots in the lineup with recent Jets signings and cuts from the NHL team's training camp this fall.
