The Manitoba Moose have let nine players walk.
Over the weekend, the Winnipeg Jets' American Hockey League affiliate made some roster moves in order to bring down the size of its training camp group as the regular season fast approaches.
First, the team announced the release of goaltenders Braden Holt and Logan Neaton, before separately cutting seven additional skaters.
The seven forwards and defencemen released include:
F - Ryan Chyzowski
F - Sean Montgomery
F - Sang Hoon Shin
D - Darick Louis-Jean
D - Josh McDougall
D - Andrew McLean
D - Carson Musser
The team roster is now down to 25 total players, which still includes three netminders, 14 forwards and eight defencemen.
Additional players are still required to be released from Manitoba to the ECHL or elsewhere, as the Jets will be sending more players to the AHL with final cuts looming.
