Winnipeg will host Seattle in the penultimate test of its eight-game stay.

The 30-12-3 Winnipeg Jets are set to host the 19-23-3 Seattle Kraken from Canada Life Centre on Thursday.

The two clubs will renew hostilities after the Jets knocked off Seattle near the start of the season 4-3 on a Nikolaj Ehlers overtime winner. Winnipeg has remained atop the NHL standings, while Seattle enters play in the 28th spot.

The Jets do still have some injuries on their hands, but the team is growing healthier by the day.

Haydn Fleury and Colin Miller are expected to return to game action by Saturday, while Winnipeg already sent defenceman Dylan Coghlan down to the minors earlier in the week.

Mason Appleton and Vlad Namestnikov remain out on forward, but Dominic Toninato and David Gustafsson have filled in the fourth line well, in their absence.

Connor Hellebuyck will start in goal for Winnipeg.
