On this week's episode of The Hockey News On The 'E' Podcast with Jacob Stoller and Justin A. Cohn:

- Goaltender Michael DiPietro of the ECHL's Maine Mariners is the prospect of the week. Since being acquired by the Boston Bruins organization and subsequently re-assigned to the Mariners, DiPietro has a .906 SP in eight ECHL games.

- The ECHL All-Star Classic took place last Monday in Norfolk, Va. Justin spoke about the format: a four-team, 3-on-3 tournament similar to the NHL. However, there was one Eastern Conference team, one Western Conference team and squads representing the last-place Norfolk Admirals.

- One of the interesting parts about the ECHL is seeing teams play three games in three days. But how could the matchups be improved, with some teams geographically close to each other not playing as much?

- The Jacksonville Icemen are the team of the week. The ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers has some draft picks playing for them, and Jacob and Justin discuss the team's top scorer, Ara Nazarian.
