The Colorado Eagles have signed forward Mark Sendel, Brad Elliott Schlossman reported Wednesday.
A product of Medina, Minn., Senden played for the Charlotte Checkers and Florida Everblades (ECHL) last season. In 11 games with Charlotte, Senden went pointless. With Florida, he scored 17 goals and added 10 assists for 27 points in 50 regular season games.
Prior to turning pro at the end of the 2022-23 season, Senden played five years in the NCAA with the University of North Dakota where he collected 26 goals and 47 assists for 73 points in 170 career games.
As Senden joins the Eagles, he is joining the organization having gained valuable experience with the Everblades. Having played an important part in their championship run (15 points in 23 playoff games), Senden could very well use that momentum to carve a role for himself with the Eagles in 2024-25.
