Some big scoreboard watching on the games tonight for all the AHL folks out there.

Charlotte faces Bridgeport

- Charlotte can win and move within five points of the second-best record in the Atlantic (& a first-round bye). 

- Bridgeport can move within one point of Hershey for the fourth-best record in the division.

- A Bridgeport loss has them tied with Lehigh Valley for fifth in the division.

Providence faces Springfield

- Springfield can end up in a tie with Lehigh Valley with a win and paired with a Bridgeport loss, there can be a three-way tie for fifth (& thus seventh) heading into the weekend. 

Manitoba faces Toronto & Texas faces San Jose

- A Manitoba win will tie them with Texas for third in the Central. 

- Texas plays later in the night and can maintain its position but it's worth adding that Manitoba has a game in hand.

Coachella Valley faces Calgary

- Coachella Valley can win its third game in a row and move into third place in the Pacific. 

- Considering Calgary has five losses in a row, there's a good chance that happens.
