Some quick thoughts following the 6-3 Lehigh Valley Phantoms win over the Providence Bruins

I'll have a few articles coming soon, but first, a few quick thoughts following this game.

1) David Jiříček is starting to find himself in the Philadelphia Flyers organization. He has 6 points in 5 games and is starting to look like the promising player many thought he'd become when he was drafted.

2) Michael DiPietro is an elite AHL goaltender but has his shortcomings. One of which is when teams speed things up and shoot high on him. It's what the Phantoms did a few times to score 5 goals on him.

3) Providence is the best team in the AHL. That said, the gap isn't as big, and for teams like Lehigh Valley, they can close that gap by buying into their system.

Hope you enjoy this and look forward to having a few articles on the way soon.
