O'Reilly spent the 2023-24 season with the Admirals, serving as an assistant captain

The Milwaukee Admirals have re-signed forward Cal O'Reilly to a one-year deal, the team announced Thursday.

A product of Toronto, Ont., O'Reilly spent the entire 2023-24 season with the Admirals, putting up 30 points in 69 regular season games and six points in 15 playoff games.

Drafted by the Nashville Predators in the fifth round of the 2005 NHL Draft, O'Reilly has played in 954 AHL regular season games over parts of 18 seasons, putting up an impressive 734 points.

O'Reilly has also played in 145 regular season NHL games, scoring 16 goals and adding 33 assists for 49 points.

As O'Reilly re-joins the Admirals, he will once again be a crucial part of a team with championship aspirations. While the Admirals went on a deep playoff run this past season, they couldn't get past the Coachella Valley Firebirds in the Western Conference Finals. With many players returning for 2024-25, the Admirals will be a team to watch.
