The Seattle Kraken have recalled forward Ben Meyers from the Coachella Valley Firebirds, the team announced Saturday.

Meyers, who began the season with the Firebirds, collected two goals and eight points in 11 games. Having signed with the Kraken this offseason, Meyers has seen a total 67 career NHL regular season games with the Colorado Avalanche and the Anaheim Ducks, putting up six goals and eight points .

A product of Delano, Minn., Meyers signed with the Avalanche in 2022 after three seasons at the University of Minnesota.

With an impressive start to the season with the Firebirds, Meyers earned his call-up with the Kraken. Although he did not draw in for the Kraken Saturday against the New York Islanders, he could suit up for the team Sunday against the New York Rangers.
