Keppen, who has been playing for the ECHL's Fort Wayne Komets, has had a good start to the regular season, collecting seven goals and 17 points in 18 games. Although Keppen spent the majority of last year in the ECHL, he proved to be a reliable depth player for the Charlotte Checkers in 2022-23. If he can find the scoresheet, he could play himself into a contract.
